SHAKE, SIMMER, & SERVE: To fully enjoy the flavorful harmony of tangy goodness this is CHUNKY T's Old FLA Bar-B-Q Sauce, SHAKE the bottle before opening, SIMMER the amount of sauce needed in a small pot to about 110 F (warm), then SERVE. Crucial flavors are muted if the sauce is not served warm. NO REFRIGERATION REQUIRED: The sauce does not need to be refrigerated after opening. If refrigerated, it is crucial that it be gently warmed before serving. Ideally, the sauce should be enjoyed before the "Best Buy" date on the bottle, but it is safe to consume indefinitely. (I've had 5 year old sauce & it was still great) MAKES A GREAT DIPPING SAUCE: While the sauce is best enjoyed with Old FLA Bar-B-Q, it is unbelievably good as a dipping sauce for french fries, chicken fingers, onion rings, wings, tater tots, and anything else out of the fryer. It's also great on pork chops, burgers, grilled chicken, ham, beans, sausage & biscuits... IT'S BOLD, BABY: Yeah that's right, this sauce is packin' real flavor with a mild kick. If you need the super sweet tomato-y stuff, don't buy this sauce. Though bold, it is balanced, and many have been known to pour it on bar-b-q and everything else on their plate. This sauce is not meant to replace lost moisture in dried out barbecue, but rather to enhance moist and juicy Old FLA Bar-B-Q. IT'S NOT A MOP (bbq basting sauce): This sauce should be added after, or no more than 17 minutes before, taking bar-b-q off the cooker. If grilling (higher temperatures) the sauce should be added after, or no more than 3 to 4 minutes before, taking food off the grill. See RECIPES page for my simple mop recipe.
